Brad Boice
From Church Choir to High School Choir, from High School Band as a tuba player to eight years as the lead singer for the popular rock band "Gemini", Brads' life has always been filled with music.
Brad Boice started his Elvis Tribute in 2005 almost by mistake. He was attending a Musical Impersonator Show with his wife JulAnn and friends. After watching the two "Elvis" Impersonators perform that night, one of his friends said "Brad, you can sing Elvis better than that!!", and left to talk to the band. Within moments, Brad was on stage singing "Can't Help Falling in Love". Since that night, he has entertained thousands of people in many different venues around the Tri-states.
Brad has performed in nine Elvis competitions since starting his Elvis Tribute. He placed 2nd in his first contest, which was one week after seeing the Impersonator Show mentioned above. In 2006, with only two contests under his rhinestone belt, Brad placed 2nd out of 30 contestants in the "Elvis Extravaganza" held in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has placed 1st four times, including being crowned Grand Champion at the 2008 Mall of America's "Contest of Kings". Brad was the 2006 and 2007 Grand Champion at the LCO Casino in Hayward, WI Elvis Contest. In 2007, Brad received the coveted "Spirit of Elvis" Award and placed 2nd out of 30 contestants in 2008 at the nationally recognized "Elvis Explosion" held in LaCrosse, WI.
In January 2009, Brad was the featured performer on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship "Independence of the Seas" for the annual Elvis Birthday Bash. He also performed two shows, to standing room only crowds, at the Hard Rock Cafe` in Cozumel, Mexico. Brad has just been asked to return to the Cruise ship in January, 2010 to perform for the 75th Anniversary of Elvis' Birthday Bash!!
Brad also donates his time and talent to help raise funds for non-profit organizations. Some of the charities he has workd with include: Channel One Food Shelves, Camp Jornada, Camp Winnebago, Eagles Cancer Telethon and Young Life.
Brad, like Elvis, cares about people. He always has time for his fans at all of his performances. He will greet each and everyone, sign autographs, and pose for pictures.
